Ski Map Layered Art

Birch Ply Layers, Stain, Paint. - 48 x 29cm

Six distinct layers of wood form a landscape in which the forefront element is the snow white painted ski runs. The abstraction of run names lights up the imagination trying to recall where we have laid some awesome tracks during the last powder day. It also brings forward the elegance and grace of the mountain layout flow, each run melting into one another. That is, until you go in-between the white lines, where the trees are busy keeping the snow fresh for those who know!

The layers are 3mm thick on  6mm birch plywood backing. The back has a cut-in mounting slot to display on wall.

These are available in a limited run, signed and numbered. Could potentially make one of a different resort. Red Mountain just happens to be the mountain I ski. I’m sure the other mountains are almost as good!
