Open Mind Festival Stage Design – La Patrie, Quebec - 2013
Collaborative effort for an augmented concert experience
Preliminary design and construction assistance of the main stage and area for the Festival. Two identical half dome stages face each other on the opposite poles of a stone circle. The idea is to prevent the crowd from being static, alternating sides between shows. Shaped like half of a speaker cone, the two stages offer great acoustics for unamplified musical performances as well as a great backdrop for light and electronic music acts.
